Each Sunday morning during the church service at the Delaware Church of Christ in Christian Union, we focus on providing a safe, friendly learning environment for the children. It’s a place especially designed for children to help them develop their own personal relationship with God. Our children's church is led and directed by Marilyn Stephens who is also our Sunday School Superintendent. She and her volunteers worship with the children every Sunday morning.  The children's service is the same as the adult service.  They do prayer requests, praise time, take offering, teaching, and alter time.   Children's Church is for children age 4 years old and continuing through 5th grade. Our nursery is available for children through age 3 years old.  The older children (6th grade through 12th grade) worship with the Adults during their service.

In our Sunday School classes (Every Sunday morning starting at 9:30 a.m.), which are divided into age groups from 4 years old up to Grade 12, we do many different things that are geared for children and are age appropriate. We play all kinds of games, do craft projects, have video times, participate in different kinds of contests and learn really cool stories about all the different people, places and things in the Bible. We learn about when God created the world, how Noah built a huge boat when the big flood came, and when Jesus was born and how much He loves us. There is so much to learn and so much fun to have.
